Attempting to gain righteousness by any other measure than through faith in Christ and his righteousness is worse than silly, the Apostle Paul calls it trash. It is worthless. We cannot place our identity in our achievement and expect joy.

Courage (Philippians 2:19-30)

The Bible praises risk taking when that risk taking in done in Jesus' name. Christians should be other focused, God-centered, gospel advancing risk takers for God's glory. That is what we are called to be.

Suffering (Philippians 1:27-30)

In the midst of the darkest circumstances, even suffering, we can rest assured that God is still sovereign. That truth means that we can live with confidence and strive to walk worthy of the Gospel, not to earn God's love, but because we have and no opponent can take it away.

A Word for All Seasons: Unless You Repent (Luke 13:1-9)

What do we do with the things that God has revealed to us? Often we struggle longing for the hidden things of God and ignore the revealed things. Rather than doing what we know we should do we long for a knowledge God hasn't given. As Pastor David shares, there is nothing new under the sun, and man has struggle with that since the Garden of Eden.
