Mother's have a unique opportunity to shape their children with the truth of the Gospel. In this drive-in message Pastor David challenges mothers to apply the Gospel daily to their lives for the sake of their children.
The people of God have one unifying foundation, the gospel. That unifying foundation allows that church to partner in joy no matter the circumstance.
What do we do with the things that God has revealed to us? Often we struggle longing for the hidden things of God and ignore the revealed things. Rather than doing what we know we should do we long for a knowledge God hasn't given. As Pastor David shares, there is nothing new under the sun, and man has struggle with that since the Garden of Eden.
Satan wants you to believer lives about what you deserve and how God doesn't truly care for you. Psalm 91 reveals that God is our refuge and strength in ways far greater than we can imagine.
Willful sin demands a willing substitute. That substitute has to be one that was without spot or blemish, a perfect sacrifice. That is what our willful sin demands, and Christ is the lamb without blemish who willfully was led to the slaughter in our stead.
Christian unique makes sense of suffering. Christ, the suffering servant, gives both meaning and hope to suffering. He himself suffered for us.
We continue our series through the servant songs of Isaiah, "The Satisfied Servant." In this passage we began to see how the Servant is a comforting servant.
God has not left us without a word in a time of uncertainty and distress, in fact, most of God's word speaks in times of uncertainty and distress. It is through God word that we can reflect Christ's power, hence in our weakness Christ is strong.
