Phase I & II Training
PHASE I & II TRAINING FOR NEW VOLUNTEERS
Each Phase I & II training session is held Saturday only from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., local time, at each location. Phase I, a basic orientation, is the morning session from 9 a.m. – noon. During Phase II, the afternoon session from 1 – 4 p.m., the volunteer may attend a more specialized class of their choosing. The course fee of $40 includes Phase I & Phase II training on the same day, a Phase I manual, a background check, photo ID badge and lunch.
PHASE II TRAINING FOR RETURNING VOLUNTEERS
Phase II classes are held Saturday only from 1 – 4 p.m., local time, at each location. For volunteers who need to recertify, the course fee of $20 includes a Phase II class of your choosing, a new photo ID badge and a background check. Completion of Phase I is a prerequisite for Phase II training. For volunteers with a current photo ID badge, there is no charge.
(Recertification must take place every three years. Check the expiration date on your photo ID badge to make sure that you stay current.)
