Equipped Studies
Equipped Studies provide a wide range of ministry and discipleship opportunities for our church body each spring and fall. We realize that families are busy during the week with school, work, sports and recreation, social events, and a variety of other commitments. So we have opportunities nearly every night of the week to fit your schedule. Our Equipped Studies have three main goals:
- Community – We want to strengthen our sense of community as a church
- Mission – We want to work to accomplish our Gospel mission in our community and around the world
- Transformation – We want to be transformed by God’s Word through various forms of discipleship

Veritas Wednesdays
(Middle/High School Students)
Wednesdays beginning Aug 21, 6:30 PM in the Loft
When God’s people entered the promised land, they brought with them rebellion, rejecting the very God and king who freed them from slavery. The promised land became a land with no king. But what if this land with no king is closer than we realize? The truth is in the wasteland deserts of our own hearts, we too are prone to idolatry, selfishness, and rebellion. Join us for our next series called The Land with No King as we explore selected texts in the book of Judges that reveals our destructive rebellion and God’s relentless salvation ultimately in King Jesus. See you at Veritas Wednesdays starting on August 21 at 6:30 PM in the Loft.

Everyone longs for a glimpse of heaven; James argues they are just looking for it in the wrong place―the internet. This accessible book exposes 5 “digital liturgies” that prohibit people from contemplating big truths, accepting the uncomfortable, and acknowledging God as their Creator. It then calls readers to live faithfully before Christ, finding wisdom through Scripture and rest in God’s perfect design.

(for men)
Led by Jonathan Stiles
Thursdays beginning Aug. 22, 6:30 PM, AABC Room 107.
“Why is God allowing this? What have I done wrong?” Many of us have asked these questions when life hits us hard. When our circumstances defy explanation, it is difficult to untangle our emotions from the truth. Before long, we feel confused and frustrated. We doubt His care for us. We wonder how He could allow these struggles at all, or if He is really in control. Join us as we explore the scope of God’s care and control over nations, nature, and the tiny details of your life. You’ll find yourself inspired to trust Him more completely―moving through heartache and into hope even when life hurts.

(for men)
Led by Wes Hagerman
Wednesdays beginning Aug. 21, 6:30 PM, AABC Room 104.
With deep conviction and often surprising advice, Keller shows readers that biblical wisdom is immensely relevant to our questions about work today. In fact, the Christian view of work—that we work to serve others, not ourselves—can provide the foundation of a thriving professional and balanced personal life. Keller shows how excellence, integrity, discipline, creativity, and passion in the workplace can help others and even be considered acts of worship—not just of self-interest.
