College Ministry
College students are a treasured part of our church family! We currently have students from the University of Kentucky, Asbury, Georgetown, EKU, and BCTC. We also have two special focus fellowship groups: one specifically for grad students and one for international students.
Our desire for students is that they thrive and grow in faith and experience great community in their university years. We want students to fully be a part of all aspects of life as a church, to have a special fellowship with the group of other college students within the Ashland church family, and to be missionally on campus, used by God to reach others. Each year we send out and pray for university students involved in summer mission opportunities. We are actively involved also in student missional community groups on campus such as the BCM and CRU.
Coming to the Lexington area for college? We’d love to get to know you! You can email Todd Martin, our Pastor of College and Missions, and he’ll follow up with you and introduce you to current students, too.
Curious what kinds of special Ashland College Fellowship things we do? Here’s a sample: free food! – a college fellowship lunch after church every Sunday of the academic year, discipleship groups, breakout games, dinners in homes, hiking trips, involvement in younger student discipleship, and much more…
