Restoring Dignity Lex is a ministry of Ashland Avenue that seeks to show the love of Christ to children in foster care as well as their foster or kinship families. By providing each child with a free duffle bag with new clothing and other essentials, we hope to meet children in their time of crisis and need by offering a sense of dignity in the midst of challenging circumstances. Many children come into foster care with little to no personal belongings and no luggage, leaving families and workers to transport their few items in trash bags. We seek to change this reality.

Each duffle bag is packed with new clothes and other age and gender specific essentials.

Each bag contains essential toiletries such as a toothbrush and toothpaste, as well as other age-appropriate items.
The bag will also contain three new outfits, a pair of pajamas, socks + underwear (or diapers and wipes).
The child will also receive a soft blanket, small toy, or a journal, depending on the age of the child.
