Tomorrow is going to be amazing. Here’s a quick list of everything you need to know about the 100 Year Celebration.
No BFG’s and No Evening Activities
The entire day has been set aside to remember and celebrate God’s faithfulness and grace.
Combined Campus Corporate Worship Service
The special worship service will be at 10 am in our Great Commission Center at the Lexington Campus. Our service will include a special video commemorating our 100 years, testimonies, video congratulations, historical remembrances, special music from Heather Payne (formerly of the musical group, Point of Grace) and the Boyce Vocal Band, preaching from Dr. Paul Chitwood (Executive Director of the Kentucky Baptist Convention) and a variety of special guests will be recognized. If you have kids and are a guest or attend the Madison County campus, see this FAQ.
Celebration Meal
After the service, our celebration will continue as we head across the street to the Lexington Christian Academy (LCA) for a celebration meal in their cafeteria. Everyone who attends the meal will receive complimentary 100th anniversary coffee mug. There will also be videos and personal testimonies during the meal. Please note that there is no childcare for the meal. Tickets for the meal can be purchased online here or in person at church.
Parking
We are expecting a full building tomorrow, so that means we will also have a full parking lot. If you are able, please leave the best parking spaces for our guests. We will provide a shuttle service to and from the celebration meal at LCA for anyone who wishes to use it. The shuttle will depart from the front of the Great Commission Center. For those who wish to drive, will also offer valet parking. See this map for everything you need to know about driving to the celebration meal.
We cannot wait for tomorrow. If you are unable to join us, you can watch online or follow along on social media. We will be Tweeting, Instagramming and Periscoping throughout the day.
