Since the whole story of the Bible is about Jesus, it’s important for us to read all of Scripture with this in mind. But sometimes, we have trouble figuring out how to do that. To help us toward that end, Pastor David has written a very helpful and simple post about how to read and apply the Bible with Jesus as the Hero.
He lays out four simple steps to accomplishing this task:
- Find the Bad Guy—You
- Find the Heroic—Sinner
- Find the Her0—Jesus
- How Can I Obey in Christ?—Faith
Each of the four steps has practical questions you can ask of whatever text you might be studying that will help you.
